    DNPA Code of Ethics

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi is committed to responsible journalism, accuracy, fairness, transparency and respect for the rights and dignity of individuals.

As a digital news publisher, we aim to follow applicable laws, recognised journalistic principles and relevant industry standards while gathering, verifying and publishing news.

    1. Accuracy and Verification

Accuracy is a fundamental principle of our journalism.

We make reasonable efforts to verify information before publication and, where possible, rely on credible and identifiable sources.

When information is developing or cannot yet be independently verified, we seek to present it with appropriate attribution and context.

    2. Fairness and Impartiality

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi strives to report news fairly and responsibly.

We aim to distinguish factual reporting from opinion, commentary, analysis and interpretation.

Where a matter involves serious allegations against an individual or organisation, reasonable efforts should be made to obtain and include their response or position where appropriate.

    3. Corrections and Clarifications

If a material factual error is identified in published content, we will review the matter and, where appropriate, correct or clarify the information.

Corrections should be made transparently and without deliberately concealing material errors.

Readers may report suspected errors through:

    dainikbharatbhoomi24@gmail.com

    4. Sources

We respect the confidentiality of sources where appropriate and where legally permissible.

Information obtained from anonymous or confidential sources should be assessed carefully before publication.

We aim to avoid publishing unverified claims merely because they are circulating online or on social media.

    5. Headlines

Headlines should accurately reflect the substance of the article.

We seek to avoid deliberately misleading, deceptive or sensational headlines that materially misrepresent the underlying story.

Click-oriented presentation should not override journalistic accuracy.

    6. User-Generated and Social Media Content

Social media posts, videos, photographs and other user-generated material may be used only after appropriate editorial assessment.

The fact that information is available publicly on social media does not automatically make it accurate.

We endeavour to verify viral claims and provide appropriate attribution when publishing user-generated material.

    7. Privacy

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi respects an individual’s reasonable expectation of privacy.

Private information should not be published without a legitimate journalistic reason.

Special care should be exercised when reporting matters involving children, victims, vulnerable individuals and people who may be exposed to unnecessary harm.

    8. Children and Vulnerable Persons

We exercise additional caution while reporting stories involving children and vulnerable persons.

We seek to avoid unnecessary identification or publication of details that could expose such individuals to harm, harassment or undue attention.

    9. Crime Reporting

Crime-related reporting should be based on credible information and appropriate attribution.

An accused person should not automatically be presented as guilty before a final judicial determination where the law requires otherwise.

Care should be taken to avoid unnecessarily revealing sensitive personal information.

    10. Court Reporting

Court proceedings should be reported accurately and in proper context.

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi recognises the importance of distinguishing allegations, arguments, observations, orders and final judgments.

    11. Communal, Religious and Sensitive Matters

We aim to exercise particular care while reporting matters involving religion, caste, community, ethnicity or other sensitive social issues.

Content should not unnecessarily promote hatred, hostility, discrimination or violence.

We avoid presenting unverified claims as established facts where doing so could create social tension or harm.

    12. Images, Videos and Visual Material

Photographs and videos should be used responsibly and, where appropriate, accurately captioned.

We seek to avoid manipulated, misleading or decontextualised visual material.

Graphic or disturbing material should be published only where there is a legitimate editorial reason and appropriate context.

    13. Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools

Where artificial intelligence or other digital tools are used in the production, editing, translation, summarisation or enhancement of content, reasonable editorial oversight should be maintained.

AI-generated or AI-assisted material should not knowingly be presented as verified fact without appropriate human review.

We seek to ensure that technology does not compromise accuracy, authenticity or editorial responsibility.

    14. Advertising and Editorial Independence

Editorial content should remain distinguishable from advertising and sponsored material.

Commercial interests should not knowingly influence factual reporting or editorial decisions.

Sponsored or promotional content should be appropriately identified where required.

    15. Conflicts of Interest

Journalists, contributors and editorial personnel should avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise the integrity or perceived independence of their reporting.

Where a significant conflict cannot reasonably be avoided, appropriate disclosure or editorial safeguards may be considered.

    16. Plagiarism and Attribution

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi respects intellectual property rights.

Content obtained from other publications, news agencies, official sources or contributors should be appropriately attributed where required.

We do not knowingly present another person’s original work as our own.

    17. Hate Speech and Incitement

We do not knowingly publish content intended to promote hatred, violence or discrimination against individuals or groups.

Material that is newsworthy may sometimes be reported for legitimate public-interest purposes, but it should be presented with appropriate context and editorial judgment.

    18. Public Interest

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi recognises the importance of journalism in informing the public about matters of legitimate public interest.

At the same time, public interest should not automatically be treated as justification for publishing private, unverified or unnecessarily harmful information.

    19. Transparency and Accountability

We encourage readers and affected individuals to raise concerns about our published content.

Complaints, correction requests and editorial concerns may be submitted to:

    dainikbharatbhoomi24@gmail.com

We will review legitimate concerns and take appropriate action where necessary.

    20. Commitment to Responsible Journalism

Dainik Bharat Bhoomi is committed to continuously improving its editorial practices and maintaining standards of accuracy, fairness, transparency and responsibility.

This Editorial Code may be updated periodically to reflect changes in applicable laws, technology, editorial practices and recognised industry standards.
